A Frenchman in Romania, writing things down.

Hello.

I’m French, I live in Romania since half a decade, and Develop Later is where I write about the things that hold my attention: parenting, people, news, places between France and Romania, and odd ideas that cannot fit anywhere else.

Living between two countries gives you a useful kind of double vision. Nothing is simply “how things are” anymore: there’s always another way a city, a meal, or a piece of software could work. Most of these essays come from that gap.

Everything here is also a newsletter, you don’t need to regularly come to the website, if you wanna stay tuned: you can just register to the newsletter. No algorithm, no feed, no tracking pixels doing anything sinister. Just writing, delivered.

I’ve never been a writer, but I want to give it a try, and who knows…
